With a week left in my User Experience class, I realize that I actually enjoyed the class a lot! One thing that bothered me when I first started college was I couldn’t find any classes that were engaging to me. They didn’t teach anything that interested me, and I found myself struggling to stay involved with the class.
Going through User Experience, however, I found myself keeping interested with what was happening and I really enjoyed the material being taught. I learned how to make things more friendly for the user, and how to improve things so that the user can enjoy what was being presented to them. Comfort and user-friendly were some of the main things, but there’s so much more to the User Experience that I didn’t realize there was.

It helped give me an idea of what I want to do when I get out of college, and helped me move down a path towards a career a little more confidently. The assignments were enjoyable, and gave a great idea into what the User Experience is. We did things from making models to designing flow charts, and even asked questions that would be used in an actual interview that helped us shape our final project.
All in all, the class was much more enjoyable than I expected, and I’m glad I had fun with this class. The professor was also a very nice person, offering help when needed and being on top of fixing any issues that arose. I can’t thank them enough for making this class a blast!
